Gwen (ThumperX) and I tried getting her heated shower going at the last Stonybarf. No Bueno.
This time I brought my 4+ gallon solar water heater and left it in the sun all day.
Meanwhile.i went to pay my 2 nights fee ($2.50/nite with Golden pass) and found someone had dumped a bunch of construction wood at a campsite.
So I snatched some pieces of plywood and, viola, an outdoor hot shower!
Felt great and lasted a surprisingly long time.

So if we postpone the gathering for another week, John will have built cabins for all of us and figured out how to plumb a hot tub for the group to enjoy next to the bonfire.

Edit: looking good for a pre dinner arrival tomorrow, if I can actually sleep tonight and get up at a reasonable hour.

I've got a few burgers, but no buns. If ya bring a bag of buns I'll put some meat in em for ya.

Oh SHIET! You will be missed.

Uuuugh, feel your pain. If it makes you feel any better, I spent 2.5 hrs drilling out a snapped bolt Monday on my FE350.

I hate strippy and snappy shiet.

I recommend MAP gas torch - probably got so red loctite behind there?

Got to add “like throwing a hotdog down a hallway” to my vernacular (is that the right use of word?) My day has been enriched.

So many uses for that analogy!

Drew appears to have a 1ish eta. I’m making lunch, then finish loading. On the road by 1 or 2, stop for seedless hamburger buns, and arrive just before dinner.

Even though I’m probably only about 35 miles as the crow flies, it’s 2 1/2 hour drive for me.
