are all nice and shiny, then people bring them to SF, and bums tip them over. HA HA!
Hey all.

I have a CBR1000F that I absolutely love.

heres my problem. :blush... my nutsack+boxers=no place to put my nugs. the seat is hella comfortable with the exception of a certain pair of twins that slightly annoy me, even when im not hitting bumps. i dont want to switch to tightie whities. i keep thinking its my pants, but it doesnt matter when i wear looser pants either. they still juggle around on the seat sides, and press into my pelvis.

im thinking of shelling out the $350 for a Corbin to alleviate this problem. does the flatter seat help with this specific issue, or should i buy a vagina? :laughing

If you can't handle your nuts perhaps you should let your woman keep them in a jar on the shelf. Then they won't be in your way.

I have a corbin on my F4i. It's nice if you just bum around on the bike and don't do much performance riding. If you need to start sliding around on the seat to move your weight around it becomes a bit of a burden do the the lip that corbins have around the edge of the seat. It's designed to cup your butt to make it more comfortable while riding but when you start sliding around the lip either runs up the crack of your ass becoming rather uncomfortable or in my case it slides up under the middle of my left thigh and becomes sore after more than an hour. So if you like to sling your cbr around i might look into a Sargent(sp?) which i understand don't have the same lip problems as the corbins, or there are like a million indy places that will stitch you a custom seat for around the same price as a corbin/sargent.

I took the trip down to Hollister and they carved my Nighthawk's seat until I was happy. The only time I run into trouble w/ "clearance" is hard stops w/ a inattentive passenger; that's brought tears to my eyes.:green:cry

The Corbin seats have gotten more expensive, so look around...
Having them carve on it between your trying it out does really work, though.

Before you leave to ride, take a few laps around your block in only your boxers. The temperature of a crisp S.F. morning should make your nuts retract cleanly up out of your scrotum and lodge themselves in the warm folds of your intestines. Then throw your gear on and you're good.

If you're going to buy a Corbin seat, make an appointment and ride down to Hollister and have it custom made for you. That's the best option to get the exact fit that you want and they'll adjust it until you're happy with the result.

Once they're done, you ride home with the new seat on the bike and they ship the old one back to you.

I had one Corbin seat on a Ducati Monster, and I wish I had known of the option of going to their factory to have it made. Of course, it was only after I had had the seat for a while that I realized what I really wanted. My two current bikes have stock seats that work well for me, so I'm not considering replacements for them.

I have a corbin seat on my F4i and love it!

I don't have any problems moving around on my seat for turns, but I probably use my legs more so when I shift my weight I'm not really sliding.

You're probably sitting too far forward most of the time... and boxers CAN get uncomfortable if everything gets all knotted up, so tighty whities, or boxer briefs it is. You can also try thin bicycle shorts under your leathers. The Corbin has an even BIGGER hump at the front part of the seat, so if you tend to ride the front part of the seat, you may be disappointed. :)

And if you really want to get your nuggets crushed, try going down a steep, bumpy road with a passenger and the stock seat. That is REALLY fun! A Corbin definitely helps with 2-up riding

There's a reason jock straps aren't designed like boxers.

No matter what seat you get, no matter how it's designed, if you're not strapping the boys in, they're gonna shift around.

I had a Corbin on my ZRX1200. I didn't have any nutsack clearance issues, but I generally dislike their tractor bucket style seat, so I had them add 1" to make it less buckety.

Buy a vagina, like you said. But keep your receipt. :|

wow, thanks everyone... i havent given that much positive feedback, ever. everybody is a winner this time. i thought for sure peoples was going to make fun of me, and whaddyaknow... you cats have the balls to be civil. :teeth

Maybe someone makes a custom seat with a concave depression in that sensitive area offering extra relief for the boys. Kind of like some of the trick bicycle seats that don't cut off important vascular circulation.

Electric heater optional.

I dont sport ride first of all. I have a touring windshield and I commute everyday on my bike, so I have to sit as upright as possible, too see traffic clearly. I like the position I am in. Its kindof a catch 22, because if i move farther backward, then my body bend is actually more intense, causing my pants to ride up more, crushing my jewels.

So, I think what I need is to get a seat thats less rounded in the front. After all, my anatomy there is far from concave.
