What a stupid motherf**ker (Horses killed in I-5 trailer fire)

Nothing I could type, could possibly convey my thoughts about someone who could willingly burn their horses to death. Or any animal for that matter. The words 'worthless' and 'soulless' do however come to mind.

Wish I hadnt read this, now I'm bummed again. :(

Had to deal with listening to my idiot co-worker talk about how her rabbits died after she put them in the yard in their igloo and when she came back to them 5+ hours later they were dead. Um, bitch you left your rabbits in the fuckin scorching heat with nothing but a small bowl of water in an IGLOO, an igloos only opening is the front, air is not going to circulate. Poor bunnies, st00pid owner. Then she went out and bought two more yesterday. :mad :mad

She should have called my father-in-law, he would have made them into stew.

True. Then, considering where he finally stopped his burning consist, a few more adjectives come to mind.

Um, trailer on fire, dude kept driving with said trailer on fire, caused grass fires and toasted horses instead of stopping.

Any questions?

Woah. Pretty hard not to notice a flaming trailer. He must never check his 6.

Even if this was some nut who was angry at his horses, why would he want them burned? Aren't horses expensive?

I really doubt that's the case. I'm pretty sure he was just ignorant and stupid. I imagine he was crying about the horses, as any of us would.

The BARF lynch mob never ceases to amaze me. They know less than zilch about the incident but feel free to condemn the guy to the depths of hell. Calling you sheeple would be a compliment...:thumbdown

A six horse trailer has more than a few wheels and can lose some and still roll fine. The F-450 is a huge rig that can tow Fort Know up a grade. I've heard of numerous times where RVs drag their tow vehicle for miles before they find out what's going on.

Yeah, the fact that the guy a) didn't know he had a blowout, b) once it as pointed out to him he kept driving until it caused the trailer to catch on fire, c) once it caught on fire he continued on for another 6-7 miles causing over a dozen grass fires along the way and d) when he did pull over, he pulled into a gas station...yeah, I guess we're jumping to conclusions calling the guy an idiot...:rolleyes

This is one instance where we arent gonna agree dude. As Archimedes already pointed out, the dude did some extra idiotic shit after knowing his trailer was on fire, one being he caused over a dozen grassfires along the way. Its a wonder none of them didnt turn into raging wildfires with the way shit has been the past month or so. And then to drive to a gas station ?!?!? Your trailer is on fire ya dumb fuck and you drive into a gas station ?!?!? :wtf

I think its safe to say that what was said by some was too nice really cuz this guy is a class A douche. :thumbdown

I have a friend with an F550. He has a 40' trailer with multiple wheels on it. I also shoe horses for a living. Trust me when I type this: 6 horses freaking out in a trailer because they're on fire is a noticeable thing. If you read the comments after the article, someone claims to have attempted to get the drivers attention, and got waved off. I really find it hard to believe the guy didn't know what was going on. Knew what was happening and made horrible decisions? Maybe. But not knowing? No.

It must be nice to just read a short sensationalized article and be able to know what the man was thinking.

Here's one of his friends quotes from the Modesto Bee.

Thank you Kastricker

I know the man that this horrific accident happened to and know that he is not only one outstanding horseman but also that his horses are better cared for than most people care for their own kin. From personal experience I know that fellow motorists often over exaggerate issues and perhaps spearo30 wasn't able to convey the seriousness of the situation. One cannot hear what is going on in the trailer of that size unless it's rigged w/a speaker system (which few are). Please look in the mirror before you judge this person - he is in no way deserving of ANY disparaging remarks. It was an accident; plain and simple. (For the insurance? Give me a break!)

Of course I'm sure this quote is obviously a gross cover up.:rolleyes
