I used to think it was better for me to be on my car rather than the bike being in the car or the car being on the bike,
but now I'm not quite sure.

No, I ride a BMW.
It's an Aussie GTO (2006 MY) that'll smoke the "REAL" GTO any way you ask it to. Much respect for the original, but the new(ly deceased) one is a better car in every way except, debatably, appearance.I guess the next question becomes, is it a REAL GTO, or simply a re-badged Aussie Holden Monaro-type GTO???

Average about 18 mpg in the Goat, 55 mpg on the two-fiddy. Over the past four months, I've done about 2,000 miles on the bike and maybe 500 in the car...then i saw a gto fill up at the gas station and felt better about everything in life
I'm gonna agree, but I'm a sucker for the sound of a V8. But the sound of V8 displacement is so wildly different from the sound of 15,000 rpm--they are all magical noises. The "real GTO" has the real badass dual exhaust pipe sound that puts the Ducatis and Harleys to shame and I'm not a car dude, jes' sayin'.
how come you have a ninja 250 ??
Shouldn't you be on ADVRider instead of trolling here? Get over yourself...

The original GTO is a pile... except maybe in the way it looks, even then it only looks alright. The new Monaro/GTO is a better car in every way.
As to the Holden based GTO? I'd own one in a heartbeat. It's everything the old GTO was and more. Unlike the 'real' GTO a 'new' GTO can actually go around corners. And the power it makes is dead reliable.
