cats have no soul, and no loyalty. My roommate has one and I hate the little bastard...even though I take care of it since she is too lazy. Give me a small dog...hell even a rodent any day of the week.

1. Valgar's more
than my mother, who has somewhere between 4 and 6 cats at any point in time. Then again my mother makes me "talk" to the cats when I call her. That probably puts them at a tie on the nutter scale.
2. I love teh kittays. I lost two in two years. Both were older when I adopted them. And I'm not all goofy when it comes to animals--they're animals and I have a healthy respect for our respective places in the animal kindgom. But I do think that pets are for lovin' on and spoiling, and I do a pretty good job of that, so when I lose them I'm absolutely crushed. I don't know if I can go through that again anytime soon.
