Well it was an interesting morning to say the least. I walked out to the street to my truck, got in started it up, let it warm up, drove down the street and realized I forgot my parking pass for work. Continued around the block and as I returned home, I noticed my Wife had already left for work in our Miata????

ODD, as she was still in the shower when I walked out the door....5 minutes ago. Shower, dress, dry hair, makeup....ummmmmm I DON THEEN SO LUCY!

So I walked in and said HONEY?!? and heard YES....my worst thoughts were confirmed....someone other than us was driving our Miata somewhere.

So if you see my baby please call the police or reply to this post. Other than that, the sunrise was really pretty....:mad

Whats the license plate # in case we spot it? Otherwise, what do you want us to do if we do spot it and we don't know the license plate #? Come back to Barf and post that we saw it?

Thanks all, really I'm just venting.

Yes, white on white. Wasn't my choice, but my friend painting it thought he would give it that little extra. The paint job was beautiful and I guess the white on white mod was period correct :twofinger :laughing

I don't actually expect to even see the car as the top is probably already on CL. But it was clean, it was standard 1990 model, just A/C no power locks, no cruise control, cloth interior, and the rag top was almost as nice as the rest of the car. Couple of spots that were rubbed, but the plastic was clear throughout. Had a front lip and still had the Car of the Year Award on the driver side wing window.

The sucky part was it was owned by my Dad who passed from cancer and although Kelly's little blue book probably didn't see the value, my family did. Insurance can't replace that. So although I appreciate you folks wanting the license plate, I don't have that info on me at work and I thank you all for letting me vent my frustration here with the BARF family.

Seriously Ill keep an eye out. My gf and my roomates gf are in the Miata mafia, they will keep a lookout as well.

Thanks, I'm in Alameda/East Bay. I think the car kinda stands out for being all white without the paint chipping off with primer spots showing like most of the white ones I see.

And tell the Miata mafia girls I say hi, because most of the times I get a thumbs up when driving the car :teeth....even though it's my Wife's car ;) and I'm just driving it after washing it or changing the oil...ya know what I mean :laughing

Most days you will find me on my manly KLR650 painted all matte blacke :p
 
Ah! so you have a Black KLR as well! and our SO's drive Miatas.

I feel a bond with you, odd man who lives in the north.
