I have similar issues. If I buy jeans that fit me in the waist, they're tiny in the ass and thighs. If I buy jeans that fit in the ass and thighs, they're HUGE in the waist.
 
Diamond guesset Jeans fit me really well and look good. I have several pairs of Defenders and their flannel lined carpenter Jeans.

I went from 260 to 230 in the past year or so, so I need a belt with them. but they still fit well.

Yes - I have the same problem ALL THE DAMN TIME. And the way stuff is cut now it's only getting worse. I HATE shopping because of this and usually keep it to a minimum (don't even get me started on dress shirts).

Now, I don't wear skinny anything but I don't want super baggy jeans either. I found Lucky Brand 181s work well for me but you may have to look a while to find a brand and cut that works for you. Go hit up Macy's at Valley Fair and just start trying stuff on. And skip the "fashion" jean section - they're all cut for thin guys and, well, they look ridiculous on guys like us.

I think this is my favorite thread in a while now. Well, until the e-penor crap began. I <3 the bear-fighting crowd.
 
My son is 6' 4" and 270 and has monster legs. He wears a lot of those skater type jeans that wear really baggy. They are not really very flattering for anyone that wants to show off muscles though. They are like the sweats of blue jeans

Well, at that size he doesn't have much of a choice for showing off the "goods". I'd bet he can't fit anything at "regular" sized stores and will need to go to the big and tall stores. Let me ask one of the guys who works for me where he goes (he's 6'5)....
