Petaluma Kawasaki just received there 1st white ninja 300 this morning. MSRP is $4799.00

I think that's no surprise....what's the OTD price?

A lot cheaper than a KX450F MX which seems kind of strange :) I remember when people were wishing they could street their MX bikes because they were cheap and simple, now the most current MXers are as much as I paid for my ZX-10R in 08 :wtf

Anyone who pays that is crazy.

Totally.

Rounding tax to about 10%, anything more than $5500 OTD is unreasonable, especially as it is past peak season and heading into the rain.

I love that there was a thread where the gist was 'dropping $18k to impulse purchase a Panigale don't make you a baller', while here $6k for a bike that's probably... half?.. as much fun is just too damn much. :laughing

Disclaimer: I bought a used SV, I'm cheap frugal. :twofinger

The KX450F is WAY higher tech than the Ninja 300. The ROW Ninja 250 got EFI in 2008, other than that it's all mid 80s tech.

charging $1k for freight and setup is a joke, but that's what a lot of the dealers are doing now. also, the yen is strong against the dollar. I'm surprised that the MSRP isn't $6k.

that bike is gonna sell like hotcakes, prob better than the recent 250 when introduced. dealerships wont even bother thinking of making a good deal, lowering their ridiculous "setup" fees, because way too many people will just sign for a loan for the full amount. just wait til u see em on CL for $5500 w/ dings from being "dropping in the driveway". cool that the MSRP is reasonably low (lower than i expected), but im betting the market will keep prices for that bike inflated for a few years.

Yeah, I could not see myself buying one new. But people will. Maybe it'll keep more green kids off the 600s, with any luck.

OTD is $6306.12 exactly.

Saw a white 2013 Ninja 650R on the streets near De Anza College. Same design as the 2012 models, OTD probably not as insane. I got an OTD for a 2012 Ninja 250R (2-tone, red colored) for $4300 in April. Then I walked out on them and got a used one for 1/2 the price lol...I'm assuming the Ninja 250R OTD is much lower now that winter season is coming. If you can't afford the 300R, the 250R is still a fun bike. :) Wait a couple years and inflation will go down on the 300R. Of course I can't stop you if you're willing to pay $6000 for sheer enjoyment. lol...

Reminds when a dude who bought a bike of mine told me a story of how a dealer got him for 12k OTD on a ninja 250... this was before 08.
