Cars parking in Motorcycle spots at Valley Fair Malll

You got that right.
How many posts do you predict he'll make before this one dies? :rolleyes

Let's see, there was the roadside cameraman thread and the never raced race bike thread and one other that I can't recall at the moment so I would estimate... (mumble, mumble....carry the 1.... Mumble, mumble) about eleventeen hundred!:rofl

Wow, 2-3 threads where I've done that. Cool story, bro.

Shall we go to the "postwhore" or "how are you feeling" threads and see how many people have made 100 posts in that?

At least my posts are actual on-topic opinions, not "I pooped today", which would be better off on Facebook.

LOL......I haven't read the thread, but if I drove into a lot and saw that motorcycle spaces were the only ones left, I'd be tempted to use them too. :laughing First come first serve.

It's self-centered, obnoxious "only I matter and fuck everyone else" mindsets such as yours that make this world a little less pleasant to live in for the rest of us. Nice. :|

I guess my brain doesn't work that way. When I see a sign that limits some aspect of driving or parking, I tend to believe it. I don't need to challenge avoidable problems. I also don't need to park near the store, my legs work fine and I enjoy the walk.

This.

If the vehicle fits inside the space, there's no issue at all. I'm confused as to the nature of your question.

It certainly creates an issue if it prevents adjacent cars from opening their doors.

Then they shouldn't park right next to the edge of their space. There's no neutral zone, you're entitled to your space and no more. Anything else is a luxury.

Which has nothing to do with cars parking in motorcycle-only parking.

If a vehicle is so large that it touches the line on both sides, which is very comon in those "compact only" spaces, then it forces the next guy to adjust.

Every single day at work, I see several empty, but unusable spaces, in an otherwise completely full lot. What happens is, a guy comes in and sees that a big truck is on top of the line, so he skips a space and parks 2 over. Which works for him, but whoops.....the empty space between him and the truck is often too small for anyone else to use.

Space #1 is marked "compact cars"
Space #2 is marked "motorcycles"

Why is space #2 more deserving of protection than space #1?

Just because we're motorcyclists, and we say so?

Go ahead and define compact car for me, okay?

Cars that are not midsize (Taurus etc.) or above?

On more practical terms, if both sides of your vehicle cover the line, you shouldn't be there.

It's a lot easier to see a four wheeled vehicle parked in a two wheeled motorcycle spot than define exactly what a compact car is.

Guess what, there are very few vehicles that will actually cover both sides of a compact spot if they're parked properly. Even a full size truck fits width-wise, unless it's a dually.

Compact is a hazy, undefined category. Motorcycle is not. Your analogy is weak.
