Tails were big as hell in the 90's, so I can't see them being tiny in the 80's.

Talking about the Cycle World pic, not the image posted in this thread. The Cycle World photochop tail is much larger and looks like a merge of the RC51 tail and an RC45 tail. Just plain fugly.
 
It was to be a homologation special ala the RC30 and RC45 when World Superbike went to 1000cc.

Don't you remember Dan... we started that 1000cc V4 rumor back in 02 during AMS meeting at Laguna Seca...

I'm never gonna buy one even at $30k, so I don't care if it's $100k. The world is better off for the existence of such things. But really, I just meant build the damn thing, as close to the GP design as possible. I'm afraid Honda is going to try to meld their beautiful, purposeful GP design with their new "design language" exemplified by the VFR1200.

Whoa whoa whoa, we all know the Motus is the top in that relationship. A top with a taste for BBWs (big beautiful 'wings).
