Hey everyone, I am looking at buying a 2014 Tiger 800 XC (Special Edition), and wanted people's opinions on the price. It's $13,500 out the door, w/ free top case and panniers as a Triumph special promotion. I test rode it today, and it rides and looks great! MSRP on the special edition is $12,499. Sticker price at the dealer was $14,650.

What do you guys think? Good/decent deal?

If it's what you want and can afford it do it! Life is short.
 
If you're looking for a Tiger, do it and don't bother with silly cast wheels and get out there. The warranty adds a decent value to it as well.
 
I rode a tiger as a loaner bike last year when my street triple was in for maintenance. I was pleasantly surprised. I say do it (no comment on if it's a good deal, I wouldn't know)

YES! I would try to shave another $250 but if you like it and your not breaking the bank then take it home and have some fun.
 
I say yes seems like a great deal my F800GS was $13,500 BEFORE everything with NO luggage. 2 year warranty...hell yeah.
