no, but fighting with cops and trying to grab their gun usually does. Whether that's what happened or not...

Too bad you can only hear one side of the story huh.

Stealing Cigars justifies being shot dead in the street....got it.

Intimidating a store clerk is bullshit no doubt but the overall outcome and the response by police still questionable in my opinion.

Yep. They should just let the minor thieves go. Declare any theft under $10k an non crime. This will have a two fold effect. It will employ many young men now jobless, and create a need for government employees to guide them to target rich environments.

Box of cigars, 10,000 dollars, and death while submitting. :|

That's the ONLY thing they didn't use in Ferguson...

In Northern Ireland they have equipment like this:

Lovely. It would double as a street cleaner in Oakland. What language was that guy speaking?

The story narrative has been dominated by third and fourth hand accounts.

It is too late in the game for this, but if the Ferguson Police had said this on Saturday, "the officer was investigating a robbery and a possible suspect had fought with police", this would not even be a story.

However, it looks like two separate incidents, Brown possibly robbing a store and the officer harassing two guys walking on the street.

Almost looks like he's wearing striped socks with sandals.

It is funny the different story the picture and the video tells. I am not absolving him of wrongdoing its just when you consider he was killed for this...

He wasn't killed for that.
The FPD are now saying that the officer that stopped and killed him was unaware that he was a suspect in the robbery.

I watched the Trayvon Martin case break on MSNBC.

As the info trickled out, I heard several liberal analysts pontificate about the sad story and violence against blacks. Which I agree with their opinions.

Then the information came out that George Zimmerman was attacked by Martin, that he suffered cuts around his head during the struggle.

I didn't want to believe it. Then MSNBC released a picture of minor cuts. I thought, that's nothing. But that photo was actually after he was cleaned up.

Eventually the on-scene photos were released. Blood from his nose, cuts on the back of his head. He looked like he was in a serious fight. http://www.cnn.com/2012/12/03/justice/george-zimmerman-photo/

I concluded privately that if it went to trial, Zimmerman would be exonerated. In all failed prosecutions of people defending themselves with deadly force, if the defendant thought his life was at risk, he was eventually found innocent.

I also think Zimmerman instigated this incident by ignoring common sense and 911 operator instruction when he got out of his SUV to stalk Trayvon. But that was not enough to convict Zimmerman.

As for Michael Brown and the police officer that shot him, Darren Wilson, this photo was released by the Ferguson police of allegedly Brown stealing Swisher Sweets and manhandling the store clerk.

Now the Ferguson police has handled this case and the associated protests poorly. There is no question about that.

But again, here is a bit of evidence which changes the whole narrative. Instead of a smiling innocent teen, I see a large man bullying a smaller one when confronted with his shoplifting.

Maybe this isn't Michael Brown, but I do not think the police would release it if it was not. But if it is, the story changes.

Zimmerman followed and confronted martin. That is not 'standing your ground' acquitted because of something other than the facts of the case.

Even more interesting, I hadn't heard that. My point was that if you look at the still images he looks pretty threatening. If you watch the video the clerk doesn't even seem scared.

It may be a character attack on FPD's part, but it also indicates a state of mind of Brown.

The robbery happened minutes before he was shot. He might have been defensive or combative because he thought he was going to be arrested for the robbery.
