I been out of the riding game for a long time and just started gotten back.

I need to replace my motorcycle and don't feel like doing it myself anymore. Anyone know any good shops and their current rates? I'll probably buy the tires online and have them unmount my rims and install the tires for me.

Thanks!

No need to go to a tire shop, I'll replace your motorcycle with roller skates and will take it without new tires.

Just PM me your address, no questions asked.

Thanks for the reference! I still do tires and would be glad to help. Bad news is my contractor is set for demolition in 2 weeks, good news is I'll have a brand new much larger shop! Pm me for details if you need any services listed in my Sig line

I'm not sure that buying online is necessarily cheaper. I just replaced my tires 2 weeks ago with PR4s at Santa Clara Cycle. SCC was about $5 cheaper per tire than Revzilla and if I bought the tires from SCC that included free mounting on the rim. If I brought in outside tires that would be an extra $25 per rim for a total extra of about $60 plus the hassle of dragging the tires there.

Evolution motorcycle in Santa Clara right next to sj airport.

They do a great job and are a sponsor to this forum I believe.

+1 to both Road Rider and Santa Clara Cycle Acces. I have used both and the experience was very positive.

I used Cycle Gear last Saturday. Rear 180 Q3 was $158, on the wheel and balanced out the door was $192.

280 Squaggler (Rick) opened his own shop, RMC Moto. Great guy and I'm picky about who does serious work on my stuff. :thumbup

+1 to Rick.

Best motorcycle mechanic I've seen in a long time. Really meticulous and great prices.

He's done a few tire swaps for me (including removing rim) and I highly recommend him.

I just got new Michelin Pilot Power 3's at http://www.santaclaracycle.com/ and I thought it was a great deal.

I brought them the wheels and it was Free mounting and balance when you buy the tires there. I would guess even if you have them do it all it's still a decent deal.
