Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar are reportedly not doing too well in the wake of their eldest son's scandal. People is reporting that Michelle and Jim Bob are “devastated” over the leak that revealed son Josh Duggar, 27, sexually molested five underage girls in 2002 and 2003, when Josh was 14 and 15.

It's been a rough year for TLC, with this and the HoneyBooBoo scandal. Maybe they should re-vamp their schedule, you know, to shows that you can actually learn from, since they are "The Learning Channel".... enough of the white trash and the women that turn their uteri into clown cars.
 
They're TV show made them look far more normal than they are. They are part of a cult with some really efd-up ideology.

The best part of this story is how Jim Bob said, when he was running for some sort of political election in the early 90's that he thinks incest should be punished by death...

Funny how many people are defending this guy. Yet nobody seems too worried about the girls. I bet they've sequestered them into silence, don't want that gravy train to end (but it's too late). A little prison time seems in order here.

For real there are people defending him? On the base of mental health, I hope?

As for the girls, if the statute of limitation is over, perhaps it's best to stay anonymous. Perhaps why nobody is defending them. Just speculation.

Yep, members of their church, and many others, are rallying around him. mI'm kind of disgusted by this shit. He might lose his show, but I bet his church has a paying position for him.

There was a time it was cool --in a geek way-- to watch TLC. There was a lot of learning there. Same for Discover.

While most certainly horrifying for the girls --now adult women--, the part the rubs me the wrong way is the hypocrisy and irony of the Christian church with its stance on sexuality.
 
I honestly didnt know a woman could have that many kids, without her having significant health effects. I havent watched the show, so maybe she does?
 
the article says he was 14-15 when it happened. How old were the girls? It says he was touching the girl's boobs, well young girls don't have boobs so they must not have been any younger than 10-12. It sounds like weird incestuous behavior, but it doesn't sound like pedophilia.
