The climate is changing. I don't think anybody is denying that. The big argument s now whether or not it's human caused. And quite frankly who gives a rat's ass? Can we slow down the effects? Actually... Though you are correct from a geological stand point, the reason the Rocky mountain range has fish fossils is because it once contained the largest area of contiguous endorheic watersheds in North America; It was called the Great Basin lake

After the Great Basin was drained several, though smaller, but still massive lakes were left in it's place. One of the largest was Lake Bonneville Being the size of Lake Michigan this also left manny fossils on the Rocky Mountains.

Once that was drained in a massive flood, and climate change stopped feeding the area, we are now left with the very salty, Great Salt Lake. One of the few noticeable reminders either of them ever existed.

We have been in a nice and steady for a while meaning small up and downs. Of course you have to believe that the scientist now what the hell they are talking about because none of us have witnessed much.

Take it further, and look at union members and government employees with pensions. They may have very little wealth, but they do have the equivalent of a very large annuity that will provide them income for life. For many that's well north of $500k to $1,000k in annuity equivalent.

But I do believe structuring policy in a way that allows the wealthy to wield it as a weapon is a bad choice. All versions of Carbon Credits are structured this way, unless I am missing one.

I would like to see a WPA style program. Makeover energy, transportation, and housing infrastructure. Even fossil fuel publications put effective conversion to renewables at rates well below $4 trillion. If we can deficit spend more than that to war, we could better utilize it to employ Americans to build a better future.

It might be too late, but we have to try. Climate change may not be real, but there are plenty of tangible negatives from use of fossil fuels.

Every regulation, seminar, speaking engagement, rule, law.amd treaty concerning climate change is directly tied to money leaving the middle class and dropping into the bank accounts of those orchestrating the fear.

But I say yes, there be climate changes, global warming, and global cooling and it's all part of a regular cycle.

Unfortunately, we is the hot cycle where the earths rotation on the position of it's axis and cycle around the sun is causing the earth to heat up. And don't forget all the othe outerpace rays out there that slowly effects earth's air and core.

Humans to blame? Definitely for the air where the hot air is trapped but I believe more is at fault of the earth's core is heating up. Just imagine a hot dog in a microwave. it rotates on the plate gaining heat from sun and other space stuff out there where it the mantle gets hot and the heat rises. Eventually we may see more shifts of lands happening , volcanos more frequent, more crazy rains that are warmer than usual, and repeat until it hit it's peak

Thereafter, the world can start seeing a cooling point again as it again shift on it's axis and it's orbit change again but it won't be in our life time

remember, we only know only a few % of the ocean but out of that few , a rise of underwater volcanic activities are on the rise, sink holes on the ocean floors, changes of oceanic bacteria, algae, and food chain disruption causing these mass die offs yearly in the water.

so yes, it's happening at a slow pace but can be bad in just a few years than what people can deal with. The ocean is our last and only hope but even then , eventually we will see the effects on the land. Keep an eye on the landscapes as you may see part of your neighborhood already "moving" already.
