Ride Day 1 part 2

The weather was awesome and 1 took us to Leggit from another full gas romp and then to Garberville for lunch.

I had a Mushroom Cola.. with a good Chicken Sammie then we hit a patio to hang while others finished grubbing. The market only had very odd drinks. Not supporting Corp America :laughing

We met Lonster in Hyderville and proceeded to rock 36. He was shredding except said he was chilling so we could keep up.

Good food, great service and I was the only dude that did not have a three course meal.

"Look through the corner" is a bit tricky when all you can see is a vertical wall of asphalt

This explains the last few "rocks" I thought I saw in the road which turned out to be increasingly fresh horsepies

Etna Summit. I just recently read Wild by Cheryl Strayed so it was cool seeing the PCT signage up here

Day 2 Ride or shade

I awoke with a vicious thigh cramp from 2,443 sweepers and tight turns.

Throwing the Multipiggy into that many turns aggressively pointed out at 65yo maybe I need more thigh work. Susan Summers still selling that thigh thingy?? :laughing

So.. after 15 minutes of fucking pain I decided to eat bananas, hydrate and chill under the walnut tree. A real 100% day of relaxing for me. A couple others too, but most rode.

SFMC's ADV buddy came and met him. Evidently the ride was one hell of a day for the boys.

A little more hanging and folks started to either go do some light riding and we saw the return of the Dirty BARF boys and other riders found some shade and party materials were shared. :laughing

Day 2 - Dinner

The shuttle came a picked up the gang. I caught the early Robin (Mrs Lonster) shuttle.

It started as 15 people and before they took a drink order we had added 3 more tables..! :cool

The poor server had to deal with all these separate checks and doing it all herself!!! Dinner took 3 plus hours. Good thing the company was great!!
