I like it also. It stands out but not in an ugly way. One thing in this level of racing is to stand out more than the others especially for the sponsors. It is like the Camel Yamaha. I think that the all yellow color looks ugly but it does stand out.
Is it "good" looking...nope
does it stand out on track...yup
Is that what the sponsors look for...yup
Would I paint my bike that way...nope
Does it look better than last year....yup
Isn't this when someone says "It's a black thing, you wouldn't understand"?. I think Lil John got crunk with that bike. Next year the frame will be stretched and chrome dipped. FO SHIZZLE!
I'm going to guess they mix it up this year and it's a one off Daytona jobbie.
MJ has his own design team with their own style so why not show it off at the races a couple times a year?
I'm not down w/ this particular paint job but I do agree that they add something cool to the series and it's great to have him involved. Mega props to MJ but this paint make me wanna hurl.
GOLD Metalflake ??? The only thing missing is their helmets should be metalflake as well just like the one's back in the 70's. Then they could glue gold sequins onto their leathers for the total gaudy retro look.
