Thanks everyone for letting me tag along, I had a great day!
Now to fix the 500...

Shawn, I'm trying to figure out who was who today. What bike were you on?
2link2, How you feeling? We will work on your endurance.
Bob, about time we meet. Next time should be a longer ride.
I had fun today!

So you were the one I was following during the 1st part of the ride. I wasn't around for the death. What happened?

What a great day,I had a awesome time.I really like riding in the rain.
Baby Ninja,It was nice to finly meet ya,you get around real good on the DRZ,I noticed I have to work to put distance between us.I put my Wolf on the prawl out on 38 for a little.Workied through a few riders but didnt want to over do it.Getting stronger.

2link2,nice bike and the second time on it,you where holding a good pace. How long has it been?Still some skills left in those ol bones.Keep an eye out,I always post up rides.Check out TT,We try to ride most weekends.

SHAWN!!!!! I'm glad you made it out of the hills,I was a little worried but hell you got a Toyota,I guess of all places to break down,That would be the place.Somwhere you can drive to.So have you ever rode those trails we took you on?I could tell the lower gearing made it easer for you.As much as I like CR500's they can be a hand full on the tight single track. So you going to get rims for your Husaberg? That will make life even easer,or the 250? We did over 40 miles, good to know my Husky will make it 40miles on a tank of fuel.

Sorry no pics everyone,it was raining.
Just imagine you rippen through the woods with new friends, great views and muddy smiles all around.Yep you missed it,Dont cry there's always next time.LOLOLOLO!!!!!

Yep, that was me, good to meet you!
I had an overheating issue and the headgasket blew, luckily it was in a place I could get to with my truck, got to do some four wheeling yesterday as well, haha

BFB- The trail was a little sketchy in one or two places but the four wheel drive just pulled right through, I was in and out in a flash.
That was my first intro to the real variety of terrain that PP has to offer, the lower gearing made a HUGE difference, I felt like I was just cruising up those hills, but this time with a lower gear to go to in case I got sketchy (which is guaranteed). The only thing I have to do now is get my suspension dialed in, I was crawling through those whoops, it was like riding a bucking bronco... Definitely looking into dirt rims for my Berg, the only thing that has me a wondering about the idea is that its set up for Supermotoard so the suspension is lowered a bit. All in all a great day though, going to go tear into the 500 now :nerd

Hey a BIG thanks to all!!! esp. babyninja for baby sitten my sorry ass back to the staging area. I thought it was real great how the fast guys would wait up for us slow ones & still keep smilling. I was running out of gas (me not my bike) & I know I would have ended up on my head sooner than later. Anyway I will be in better shape next time out. I really enjoyed the ride That was my 3rd time out on a dirt bike in 18 years Man they sure make em a lot better these days, it was cool seeing the Huskys & the KTM still rocking. My last dirt bike was a KTM 490 2 smoker all you could do is hang on & hope it all would end good. I hope to ride with ya all again.
Thanks

I'm planning on heading back up there next sunday for a mellower day of fire roads with the family if you want to tag along :thumbup
