Yeah, well, sometimes I push it a little too far. Just got home from three days in the hospital. Several broken ribs and a punctured lung sustained after a crash on my mountain bike. More than two months in Baja without incident, then hurt myself two weeks after getting home. Living well has its risks.
Dude! That sounds pretty serious..
No offense intended John. You are one of my ADV heros.
The one we went to is near the town of Santiago, about halfway between Los Barriles and Miraflores. Where is yours at? I didn't know about it!
Just west of El Sargento, right by your casita. It’s been a bit over a decade, but head west towards Rancho Las Canoas I believe and keep hiking west up the dry river after the road ends. Not sure if that’s now part of Joes’s girlfriend’s ketchup money now or not.
And DuDe.... stop getting yourself hurt!
Yeah, that's all private property now, but I don't think I ever visited that spot before. Do you remember if you got there via the old dump road?
We should grab a beer somewhere and talk about the whole injury thing - oh wait. Can't do that any more.
Yep... I believe thats the road. Veer slightly right at the dump up the arroyo until the road ends and hike the rest of the way.
I'll be in town next weekend and perhaps we can have a cocktail on the stoop.

Ouch! I keep saying MTB are dangerous, stick to dirt bikes!
Hope you’re on your way to a full, speedy recovery.
Sorry to hear this Leo. I'm glad you are on the mend and feeling better.
