I am really sad to let this one go, but I can't own two bikes and will have to say goodbye. Asking $5K
This is a 2006 Triumph Speed Triple with ~22,000 miles. I am the second owner of this bike, and have had it since 4K miles, about 3 years ago. I loved every minute of it. The bike was stolen late last year, and I ended up sidegrading bikes to something more suitable for longer trips. Three weeks later, it was recovered with only a few more miles on the clock, but I can't keep both bikes. I had the obviously blown out keyset replaced, but overall the bike was still in great shape. Now that the bad is out of the way, onto the good.
This bike has a clean title and no problems. Only a few months before it was stolen, I did a ton of upgrades/major maintenance including:
Valve adjustment
Oil change
Air filter
Chain and Sprockets
Tank grips
Shorty brake and clutch levers (still have stock)
bar end mirrors (still have stock)
New stator
New fork seals
PR4 tires that still have tons of life left (this is a $350 set of tires)
The bike also has dual Arrow high mounts (still have stock exhaust for +$100)
The Sargent seat can also be yours for +$250 (these are hard to find now for this bike)
People frequently sell bikes right before the major service to avoid having to pay for it. Additionally, the stator is known to eventually give out on these bikes - this one has a fresh one recently installed. If you get one without a new stator, there is no telling when it will eventually go, leaving you stranded. While this bike has a few more miles on it, you have peace of mind knowing that the major service has been done and there are no major service intervals for >10K miles. I have absolutely loved this bike and will be very sad to see it go, but I can't afford to keep two. If you would like to check it out, feel free. No test rides without valid M endorsement and full price cash in hand.
I am available most evenings and weekends to show the bike.
