2011 Cadillac CTS-V Stolen 8.5.26 - FOUND 8.19.26 but destroyed

Someone should start a separate thread on this subject and not continue it here. The food quality discussion is worthwhile to have.
@Meandad and I are done discussing healthy food. And the people who don't eat it.

I've been to his house in Willow Glen- he got the wheelchair by falling off his fucking roof at home (I think he was cleaning gutters), not a fire or respitory issues. Super cool dude before and after. Menl Fire was super cool too- they had a shop rig up a new van he could drive/commute in from his wheelchair.

I ran into his yard with the paramedics and firemen. I told them he was the Menlo Park fire chief in case they didn’t know. He was on a very tall ladder at his back property line, trimming his very tall junipers when he fell. Even though he was paralyzed and couldn’t move, he was telling his rescuers what to do. After he was taken away, me and a neighbor cleaned up the scene and washed the blood away with a hose.

For what he did after the fall, staying on as fire chief in a wheel chair, that cemented him in my mind as a true hero. To say nothing of all the other work he did.

We still talk from time to time when I see him out and about in his chair.

I’m okay with y’all discussing my poor life decision's.
Speaking of poor decisions.

Aston was Ford and now… SJ Rob?

Ok. Not bought but we are talking cars again. :teeth

That is the car I do want and in a few months could buy. To me…. A bad ass classy OG ride.
Not evil cool but really fucking cool.

I am selling my life (building) and could. Should??
If I had a garage for it I would have already visited our man in Los Gatos just to get my juices committed to a poor decision but one that “this is the time” if I am ever going to do it. Fact is I don’t have a garage available and it will go in the driveway.

Everything I am says that is stupid and something really cool can be had for less than 1/2 the cost but… my gut says I will be dead in 10 so this won’t come around again. All that shit.

Damn :facepalm

Stroll knew what he was doing with Aston when they did their redesigns; aimed at both the husband and the wife. Most women fall in love with the lines...the guys; the engine and performance and then, the lines. This is something you can take home, Bud...but the driveway for her scares me. No chance at any garaging?

I'd still say "ah hell" and buy her anyway tho....and put the 3m car armor on her front end....Absolutely the bucket with a list burning inside it. I mean, can someone ever really screw up buying an Aston?

Garaging is super unlikely. :(

The good is that the Mrs said “You worked your whole life and it is your building. You should go a little crazy. This is you shot.”

Part of it for me is I don’t know if I can be that guy to drive a car that expensive. It sure would not be a look at me deal but it could feel weird.

Possibly in the "Garden" thread, but not really a clean fit. Probably better in it's own thread, something like: "Food / Health" ???
I think personal responsibility and calories in calories out! will figure too prominently. If those car thieves had better nutrition because mom made better choices and whole foods opened in their hood this would have never happened. Obvs

Speaking of poor decisions.
It's not like you really have a choice here... between the incessant yammering about "healthy food", planning moto riding extravaganzas, and mourning the loss of your 4 wheel speed fix...you really NEED that car :x

What the fuck is going on with you architects??
Even I have a garage.
First Mike Brady had six kids sharing one bathroom and now you with no garage.
A shoemaker's kids have no shoes, I suppose?
I have a garage but it is full of files and shit from my office. There is some dumb rule that architects have to keep that shit for ten years :rant.

I have to keep paying liability insurance for ten years too.

I am casually looking for another home. We had talked about being in this one for ten years but the stair incident made us both decide to just keep our eyes open for a single story and a 3 car garage.

Well the 3 car garage is my take.
