just keep your insurance up and don't worry about it. i suspect a ctsv is a pretty popular target maybe the next one you could go a little more Grandpa and less Gangster?

I did like the discussion as he was asking about what had been done to the car.

Since I upgraded stuff before I even picked it up I feel like that is going helpful for when I get to insurance, which will be the next phone call I suppose.

I did ride in one just last week for the first time. So quiet and stout feeling compared to the '08, but I think I do want something a little less look at me!!!

What a bummer Budman.

Years ago, someone lifted my Toyota pickup truck. In the end it was a good thing, leading to me getting my VFR. I had the head unit to the $400 stereo I put in a month earlier >.<, but what I really miss from that truck is the cassette tapes in it -- I had some nice recordings.
 
I assume you didn’t have an OnStar subscription. If you did wouldn’t they be able to locate it and shut it down.

Interesting that they asked "our" permission to draw weapon if they found it.
They also said it would be very unlikely they would chase it because of it being a high performance car.

Wife gave them permission to draw and shoot..! :laughing
 
This really sucks Bud. Getting ripped off is the worst. I hope you get your car back without too much damage, headache or frustration.


If ya don't, I hope insurance covers enough to get a new whip that makes you smile.

So once again I will say this AirTAG (remove speaker) + AA battery case.

PLUS a spare DECOY airtag for them to find...

@budman you took your car to a shop or 2 for an estimate on repairs, what a coincidence 'they' stole it right after... right? like they knew the address on the registration or customer profile of where to show up at for a rare 6 speed car??? HMMM :unsure: you might want to tell that to the cops man.... GL I dont think you will want it back after its been had by those assholes though.
 
The weight of this thread, as I read it, soured my stomach, from the title.

If you had to live thru that as a to-fer, no car & broke leg, just how are you gonna kick em in the package?
 
Really sorry and sad to hear about your "V". Hate to be a downer but the car is probably being stripped vs taken for a joy ride. Four guys vs one or two for joy ride.
Don't let the insurance low ball you. Rare car. Let me know what options the car had, like Recaros, Moonroof, Caliper Color, Interior Color, etc. I can dig up some more production info. I'll post some pics and the VIN on the Cadillac V Club site if you'd like.

i would be paying a visit to each shop the car was taken to and speaking with the manager. it makes too much sense for this to be a coincidence...
