2011 Cadillac CTS-V Stolen 8.5.26

Really sorry and sad to hear about your "V". Hate to be a downer but the car is probably being stripped vs taken for a joy ride. Four guys vs one or two for joy ride.
Don't let the insurance low ball you. Rare car. Let me know what options the car had, like Recaros, Moonroof, Caliper Color, Interior Color, etc. I can dig up some more production info. I'll post some pics and the VIN on the Cadillac V Club site if you'd like.

On Star said no luck. Your car is 2G we are 5G now.
Yeah, they dropped the 2G about 3 years ago. Computer obsolescence and look at how many cars are at 5G now and when it's no longer supported. Way more 5G cars now than there ever were 2G cars.

I, for one, am very glad that you did not hear or confront them. Cars are replaceable... You are not! :thumbup
would you have said the same thing if it was a mopar that was taken?!

Member that time when Enchanter had to let us all know how modest Bud is about his driving Skills? Pepperidge Farms remembers Buds lap times being comparable to the track day INSTRUCTORS times. Not the fast A group drivers. The Instructors....

Great pic Bud, may there be many more :thumbup

Kiddo's saying the same thing. Mrs would not be smart about it. She would have run out yelling. I believe I would have... standing behind an open door holding my 9 yelling freeze motherfuckers. Maybe that is not smart either. :laughing

Behind a wall for cover, popin' rounds from a rifle, shootin' tires, shutting down horse thieves.

Feeling the loss before you see it, really does happen.
along with looking for it next week, at the curb, again and again.
I can't help myself

Yeah, getting shot at, or shooting at someone else, over a car ain't happening around here... they're gonna hafta come inside for that kind of treatment. :troy

you took your car to a shop or 2 for an estimate on repairs, what a coincidence 'they' stole it right after... right? like they knew the address on the registration or customer profile of where to show up at for a rare 6 speed car??? HMMM  you might want to tell that to the cops man.... GL I dont think you will want it back after its been had by those assholes though.
I had one of my 5th gen VFRs stolen over a weekend....after picking it up from service the preceding week.

Always wondered how much of a coincidence that was...

Rarely is KNB the go to for ACV. Rare care with recorded sales.
If you need help navigating insurance just ask.

Also, welcome to G’s 2025, hold your dear ones close.

Honestly one of the main reasons to not have a registration which points to the same address the car is parked at....

Man I am sorry to read that your your beautiful car was stolen, it really sucks as I have also been the victim.

I don't view my vehicles as just a material item that is easily replaced, they become part of our identity especially if we have had them for a long time.

Insurance value and personal value don't always equal out - I am still searching for a replacement truck 18 months after another driver totaled it.
Thieves should be :deadhorse

Sorry to hear this Budman. I've had thieves stike me twice in my life from home burglaries. Really sucks.
