Most importantly.. it makes it really hard to hear my girlfriend talk when she's riding on back

Jesus Maria. Sort of on the way to Hawthorne. Not really on the way to Quincy unless you're planning a really long day. If you did not enjoy the bottom of Bear Creek, Jesus Maria would be even less fun.

Ok barfers FYI, I just called the hotel and they only have 2 rooms left, one is a king and the other is a smoking room or sorts...

I found another hotel, just across the street called, the Spanish creek motel, I got a king bed for $68 a night. parking is just out front and should be cool..

How could someone not enjoy Bear Creek???

For the record, Bear Creek is a fine road. Kurt and I rode it this weekend. I found the lower 1/3 bumpier than I like and than I could remember. I'm sure Kurt used Bear Creek as a reference point for Jesus Maria.

And with that, well noted, it seems Jesus Maria is a goat road and neither the bike's suspension or my back is set up for that.
