2015 Indian Scout

It looks to be about the size of a Sportster? Just without the high tank.

I wouldn't mind having one but I just don't like forward controls... I've sat on a few cruisers and it's super uncomfortable IMO. Btw the red/white/blue livery tracker/bobber thing they showed in a video looked sweet though, I'd rock one of those with mid controls although it would kind of defeat the purpose of the bike.

They are selling pegs, handlebars and seats for different positions for different riders. Check the websight.

With a springer solo seat and drag bars, matt black... oh yeah, that's the outlaw bike for town.

Nice looking motorcycle. Nice tribute to Burt Munro and the original Scout.

I liked this bike till I saw the pictures of people riding it. It looks too small, the riders seem to dwarf it. I'll save my final judgment for when I see one in person. I don't care how they ride, really, that's not what this bike is about to me. It's looking cool.

If...and it's a big if, my lady ever wanted a bike of her own, this new Indian would be at the top of my list of suggestions. Because yeah, it does look really cool. Cooler than a 883 Superlow which is also on that short list. I'd be a bit nervous putting her on something with that much power. But the size of the Scout is what's good in her situation. She's only 5'3" so that low seat height and low weight really make it attractive. I'm a little over a foot taller than her, so this thing would look like a pocketbike under me. But I don't think I'm the demo Indian is going for with this bike.

Yeah, I thought the same thing when I saw the new Scout. If my wife decides to take the MSF class, I told her I'd buy her a whatever motorcycle she'd like. We'd have to give the Scout a look.

Doesn't look much like the 1928 Indian 101 Scout....

Seems naked without a suicide shifter..don't it?

I was referring to the image size of the fist 2 images you posted.

What images? I don't see any "images"... it was Yoda that posted those.... besides if you had a giant display, it wouldn't have been a problem..:)

I'm using a 40" Samsung TV for my display output, so it looked normal over here.

You posted these two images, which I quoted in this post.

http://bayarearidersforum.com/forums/showpost.php?p=8638479&postcount=68

And they were huge. Not trying to make a big deal about it, I was just poking fun at ya. I removed the img tags as to not repost the huge images.[/QUOTE

I deleted those when I viewed them on my 13" display.
They looked OK on the 40" though...
But there are 4 or more larger images farther up the thread...I only noticed those when I switched to the 13" macbook display.
Good thing I don't do image formatting as a profession....
I might have to pay attention.
( I'm editing this on my Motorola phone so everything looks out of whack..
)
Still don't have a proper computer in my upstairs bathroom.
:)

Looks like there are first impressions.
