Above Jorge Martin?

If MM gets healthy I’m thinking he is a title contender in a big way.

Yes.

I see more battle and race craft in Enea vs Jorge. Enea needs to get into Q2 and he'll be placed for top 6 battles. Another thing is that Enea isn't a crasher and can bring the bike home.

Joan Mir's special helmet graphics for the test.

Great thread. Next season will be even more variegated than this season. I don't think MM93 is finished, but I don't think he will ever return to his previous dominance. Ducati is going to be a force to contend with, unless Yamaha comes up with something over the winter. Rins and Mir are my favorite fuck ups, but they will continue true to type.

Quartararo could well be champion next year, if he continues his great hard working style.

I am unable to count MM out... he's got a few months to heal, and I believe if his eyesight is 100% he will be in the running for the championship.

If Suzuki finds some power I think Mir would have more of a chance.

Ducati should be in a good position with pecco and miller next year

Honda, good luck

Yamaha needs to pray fab quat stays with them cause everyone else is a solid meh

KTM tech 3 team will be interesting to watch but KTM needs to get their chassis sorted with the new rubber.

Aprilia, even more good luck.

Quartararo could well be champion next year, if he continues his great hard working style.

I think he's shown a lot of smarts this season, knowing when to limit his losses when the bike isn't up for the win. He's won more races on a relatively slow bike than any rider on the faster Ducati has managed, too, so he knows when to play to strengths as well as to minimize bad days.

Tito Rabat has got next year covered

Mad

Cool to see Dovizioso back on the grid. If he adapts well to the yamamamama could he be a consistent top 10 rider?

How many rounds before Mav unravels?

Full implosion by Mugello. They can find excuses for the first 4 flyaways, but after a few rounds in Europe....Jerez, Le Mans, Mugello...and the results haven't come? He'll lose it.

You know though, maybe he won't? Maybe he already sort of understands now his career is done. He had his shot at the A-list factory ride...and that was it. He might get it, unconsciously maybe. Tough to say.

The last interview I saw him in, after tooling around in 14th or something in whatever session, he was all smiles and sort of forcedly positive. I think on some level he has to think, "Hmm...When I got on the Yamaha the first time, straightaway I was at the top of the time sheets.....Now I'm at the bottom..."

There may not be any spectacular meltdown....By then he just may be thoroughly defeated...

Going out a a limb and choosing Martin.

Ducs have the inside line right now. The Japanese factories better be burning some midnight Earl because those boys need some HP to keep up.

All I know is that 2022 is going to be epic. Can’t wait for that first race. The Pecco / Fabio / MM face off could be unreal.

Who's going to beat Pecco next year? Jack's a great bloke but I just don't think he's at the level. Marc? I don't think he'll be strong enough over the course of a 21 race season. Fabio? The Yamaha is gonna fall behind yet again most likely. I don't think he's got the package to fight all year long, especially not with 7 other hard to pass Ducatis on the grid. Pecco should run away with it next year. He matured a lot this year. Silly season next year could be interesting. Fabio should move to Ducati.
