Don't be that guy.
I don't drink coffee at all. This person loves coffee and gets it everyday. What's good for coffee drinkers?

French press at a work desk... normally no (you also need a grinder, which won't work in an open office area)A gift card to Peets plus a cool coffee mug is one idea
. Def don't wanna do a gift card and a coffee mug seems too small in comparison to what she's done thus far for me heh.Peet's coffee tour. They send you a pound of beans every month. Each month is a different blend or type. Its a great way to try different coffees.
Civet coffee (kopi luwak). They prolly don't drink that everyday. I've given it as a gift. It was after I quit coffee, so I don't think I've ever tried it.I don't drink coffee at all. This person loves coffee and gets it everyday. What's good for coffee drinkers?
There are a lot of great coffee shops around the bay area where you can get good coffee beans:
Phil'z Coffee
Blue Bottle
Peerless Coffee (Oakland)
etc...
Hmmm, thanks a lot. I will check these out. Without making it obvious and asking, is there a general "rule" for selecting coffee beans? Would it be a bad idea to just guess on a flavor? lol
Think of it as buying a bottle of wine. Not everyone has the same palette. I'm not sure how serious of a coffee drinker she is that she'd notice the difference, but you can do a little research and find out. See if she like heavy, bold flavored coffee, or light coffee and start from there. Ask the coffee shop what they would recommend.
