Yeah, I know it requires the "right" buyer. I have had every response you can think of since putting it up for sale. Just laughing (like Stan) to drooling and saying if they had the $$ they would buy it on the spot. I need the later response from someone with deep pockets. And yes, I have been trying to "off load" it for awhile. While some see that as something to scough at, it has been my experience that if I'm patient, I will eventually get a good price. I have purchased/restored/modified/sold alot of vehicles in my lifetime. It has been my experience that patience is a virtue. If I end up keeping this bike it would not be a bad thing. I love it and would probably keep riding and customizing it because, yes, like my wife says, I have a sickness. And with some things "stock don't rock".
I am currently restoring a 1983 Kaw KZ750 (cafe?), 2001 H-D Road King, 1968 Chevy C-10, 1970 GMC Jimmy, and a 1974 Triumph TR6. I got bored with the KTM but not so much I would give it away. I have only so much room in my garage.
So I will let that KTM sit on CL, Ebay, and maybe even a KTM dealership on consignment all summer long. If it doesn't sell, it doesn't sell.
