Aircraft that make your jaw drop!

My partner has never flown in a small aircraft, so I talked one of my customers into giving us a Sonoma/Napa county tour in his 2025 Cirrus SR22T.
The only time I had flown in a small aircraft was around 1979 or 1980 when my girlfriends father had a plane at SJC and he would fly us to the coast for lunch

I know that’s the CO’s plane and all. So a 0-6 I can believe (MaVeRiCk WaS a cApTaiN tOo). But would have never expected to see a two star still actively flying.
It doesn’t happen frequently, but it isn’t uncommon.

This pilot is a former TOPGUN instructor still flying an F-14 in combat as a 3-star Admiral (1 star is covered).

Which reminds me to put that ride back up to the top of my list as it is only a couple hours away
I've thought about posting a group ride to the museum when its warmer. I'm hoping to stop by this year on the way to a BARF Rally.

I hit up a car show at the Estrella Warbirds Museum near Paso Robles my way to a BARF Rally in May of 2023:
