Alpinestar shitty glove review

6 months isn't terrible for a cheap glove like that to last...by the looks of it, that glove wouldn't have helped you if you crashed ever anyways...

wtf have you been doing with that finger?

Seriously. WTF? I guess if I used my gloves for yard work I'd wear them out like that too, but I can't, for the life of me, figure out how I'd wear a glove out like that from riding a motorcycle.

Oddly, that is exactly were I wear out my gloves, too. Have a set of Racer and a set of Rev-its with the same hole.

I had a hole like that in my old Shift gauntlet gloves.

I sewed it back up real real tight.

You should also get some real full leather gloves. Those wont really do shizz, but better than nothin I guess.

Ten years ago it was a "go to" brand of mine, but in the last few years I've noticed A-Star riding gear has been real hit and miss; weak seam stitches, zippers and snaps that don't hold, that kind of thing.

Over that period of time I have limited my A-Star purchases to hats and t-shirts, which judging by a recent trip to Macy's they seem to focusing more of their energy on...

I wear their full leather gloves. No complaints.
Had a pair of textile ones that fell apart as well.

I've been riding with a pair of A* leather Octane S-moto gloves as my daily drivers for a year, and while they've broken in nicely they don't show a lick of wear. Seams are all still perfect. Everyday use. No falls yet.

I spent $200 four years ago on Racer High Ends. Still have 'em, and they haven't worn through the leather anywhere, even after a number of crashes and spills.

Getting fingers shortened on my Helimot H20s too. Honestly I can't fathom spending $ or less on gloves. Hands are really useful in work and day to day life :p
