I've never had a problem with a-star elbow armor in jackets. This with three jackets.
I wonder if its just a fitting problem, not in the sizing, but people just have different dimensions... People of the same overall height can have vastly different inseam lengths...
Or if your chest and stomach are larger, this might prompt you to get a jacket that fits you around the chest but then the arms are too long...
Or a combination of issues like you are wider around the midsection, and at the same time have shortish arms
Do you have to have suits tailored? or are you good with something like a 41 regular? Not saying that you're abnormal or anything, just maybe you are on the inside tolerance of one measurement but on the outside tolerance of another...
A-Star has to make jackets that fit average dimensions and as such, there will always be flyers where that approach just never works well... It's the same with boots and gloves and helmets etc etc.
Solution? Custom one piece!
