do all the teams come out to test? or just some?, is there alot of people? im hoping maybe not since its a tuesday and how long do they test? whole day?

The open testing days are great! :laughing
No really there aren't many people that show up to watch so you can ride your bike around on the access roads to a get to the different grandstand areas.

It's fun to watch and not nearly as crowded as a race day.

its nice and relaxed. theres pretty much just the riders and crews, track workers and 20~40 watching. come out.

do they charge for parking my broke friend is going to follow us in the car but cant spend that much

I'm going. Thanks for the heads-up. Anyone wants to ride from SF, PM me; let's go early.

BwwwwaaaaaAAAAAAAAAPP!

i might have to skip a day of school for this! im down to ride down there!! anyone wanna set up a meeting spot?

Gates open at 9 a.m. on April 1 and admission is FREE. Fans will be able to watch testing from the grandstand, as well as wander around the paddock, just steps away from their favorite riders. Other elements planned for the day include:

· Supermoto USA: Up to 50 riders will take part in a Supermoto USA exhibition which will be held behind the main grandstand in the paddock on a temporary course at 9 a.m. Supermoto will return for three days of action at the Kawasaki AMA Superbike Showdown, May 16-18.
· SBFreaks Street Freestyle: Riders will be on-hand for a street freestyle demonstration on April 1 at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Riders will perform a variety of tricks on their 400- and- 500-pound street bikes. They will return for the big weekend in May, as well, competing on the Turn 10 island. The freestyle is hosted by SBFreaks.
· Fan Forum: Select AMA riders will participate in a Fan Forum in the Wine Country Winner's Circle during the lunch break on April 1. It's your chance to ask questions of your favorite riders.
· AMA Ticket Offers: Special ticket offers will be made available for the upcoming Kawasaki AMA Superbike Showdown in May.

Gates open at 9 am. I would like to be there at that time.

Since everyone so far is coming from the southbay, we can all meet in San Rafael at the Starbucks :
777 Grand Avenue
Unit #103
San Rafael, California 94901

say around 8:30 then head up from there. Google maps says its another 20 mins from there.

what do you guys think?

I'm not sure what the traffic looks like up there at this time, so if someone could chime in and let us know, that would be awesome.

Is that off the Central San Rafael Exit? I can be there at 0830.

im not sure, i went to starbucks.com and tried to find the closet starbucks to the freeway for an easy meet up point.

If you go to store locator, punch in San Rafael, CA it should be #4 on the list.

I will be there at 8:30.
