Oops! Got the wrong house, sorry!
I find it completely amazing. I registered for this site nearly 4 years ago. I haven't posted much over time, but have lurked a bit and read a few interesting threads.
This summer, I started visiting more often, reading about some of the track day stuff because I have been doing a great deal of it the last two years.
Recently I advertised a trackday that my new track company is hosting. Within two days, I have had a host of smart ass, blatently rude remarks made to me, plus had some childish thing added to my profile, that makes me feel like I am in second grade. These made by people who know nothing about me, either personally or even through the forum.
Anyone who knows me knows that I am about as thick skinned as they come...I don't offend easily, and I am not offended now. I am however baffled. I am a business owner (multiple actually), a motorcycle rider and enthusiast and I guess I just don't understand the type of behavior that seems to be prevalent here. And with the attitudes, I wonder how some of these folk can safely operate a motorcycle on the street, much less the track.
No offense meant to the moderators of this forum, but it is easy to see that BARF's reputation as been well earned.
Cheers!
