Oops! Got the wrong house, sorry!

I find it completely amazing. I registered for this site nearly 4 years ago. I haven't posted much over time, but have lurked a bit and read a few interesting threads.

This summer, I started visiting more often, reading about some of the track day stuff because I have been doing a great deal of it the last two years.

Recently I advertised a trackday that my new track company is hosting. Within two days, I have had a host of smart ass, blatently rude remarks made to me, plus had some childish thing added to my profile, that makes me feel like I am in second grade. These made by people who know nothing about me, either personally or even through the forum.

Anyone who knows me knows that I am about as thick skinned as they come...I don't offend easily, and I am not offended now. I am however baffled. I am a business owner (multiple actually), a motorcycle rider and enthusiast and I guess I just don't understand the type of behavior that seems to be prevalent here. And with the attitudes, I wonder how some of these folk can safely operate a motorcycle on the street, much less the track.

No offense meant to the moderators of this forum, but it is easy to see that BARF's reputation as been well earned.

Cheers! :twofinger

ahhhemmm "Join Date"

You will notice most of the smart comments come from the "NEW" users.

The only common denominator with BARF members is motorcycles. In some cases motorcycles don’t even apply. BARF is about as dynamic as any demographic can be so you should expect some smart asses.

Maybe we should change BARF to a closed society and keep all the riff-raff out. I say, we start by expelling anybody with long hair.

Thanks for coming here rarely and having nothing interesting to say when you do! Thanks also for using BARF to advertise your track day without paying for advertising! Thanks for letting me know a business (multiple actually) from which to never buy anything! And with your attitude, I wonder how you make it through the day without getting punched in the mouth, much less kicked in the taco!

Cheers!

That was not only sexist and politically incorrect it was down right vulgar.

Cool:thumbup

unfortunately, the world is full of stupid people, BARF is no different. Good for you posting a trackday. I hope you didn't cancel it because of this, it sounds like fun, although I don't think the KLR650 or DRZ400SM would agree.
