Just a comment: Why do people feel the need to repost the gifs when commenting on them? It's onerous and really unnecessary.
Because with enough traffic, the responses would be confusing without the reference?
It used to be bad form when teh BARFs had low-capacity servers, but drive-space has gotten cheaper, thanks to all the BARFers that have contributed $$ to BARF.

It's not the servers he's talking about -- they're just links.
The problem is the folks loading the pages, the impact of loading the page is pretty painful depending on your bandwidth. Even with great bandwidth, they're painful to load.
I've come to the point where I simply open this topic in another tab and continue skimming messages, eventually coming back to it. Let it take it sweet time loading in the background.

You can post 100 of the same gif and it will load just as fast as one.
