Only in New York, IL and CA. The rest of the states are saying, "Holy Fucknuts," when they see what is happening here and clutching their guns to their chest. It's the sticking issue that keeps the Democrats from dominating politics, kind of like Republicans and the gays. IL was the first one to go too far and have all their shit overturned as unconstitutional. CA looks like next on the list now because of the Open Carry ban.

Let's flip that for a minute.

"Wait, I thought more guns in the streets means blood everywhere? Increased risk to police officers? There will be random people shooting each other over parking spaces! OMG! Fear! More death! More violence! If you let just ANYONE carry a gun EVERYONE will DIE!!!!"

Both sides have a narrative. One side's completely full of shit, the (currently winning side) is only about half as full of shit, since half the stuff they keep saying the other side will do, the other side denies...then goes and does (attempts to confiscate, outright ban, etc) which kills their credibility for anything else.

Pretty much. I'd like to think the Republican party could be a far better party to lead if they'd get off the religious/anti homosexual soapbox, and to be fair most of them are at least tolerant of others. But much like Feinstein and guns it's the loudest ones that get the most attention, even if they're in the minority.
