Not that I excuse it, but I understand it. Dude just lead them on a chase, probably endangered dozens of lives. Cops are human too, and their adrenaline and emotions get going just like anyone else. Anger over what the guy did came out. It's not right, and there should have been severe punishment for attacking a CLEARLY unconscious suspect. But seriously, how many have not wished for some douche and danger to society to get some "instant justice"? Again, doesn't make it right, but I can't hate them for it. And I certainly won't be so stupid to make the leap that many do that ALL cops are like that, just because of what a few did.
