Anime Thread *was Naruto Shippuden!*

one anime that has surprised me is denno coil. pretty unique with an incredible storyline so far...

That's what I've been saying! Since he started his training I stopped watching but I keep collecting the episodes. Last night I went to see if they've stopped fillers and it seems episode 137(or maybe it was 147) strarted to get into action again. Maybe I'll check it out tonight and see how many episodes of action there will be.

Side note, Darker Than Black, had a good twist for an ending helped explain some stuff, but still kind of a wrap up ending.

I started watching Gundam Mobile Suit. It seems to be about the only action series out there right now, the rest are these "Slice of Life" ones that I don't find too interesting.

As my previous post said, the only three I'm really watching this season is Narruto, Mobile Suit Gundam 00, Shigurui.

Shigurui, is a samurai gore, action series. It's pretty good especially compared to the rest of the stuff that's out right now.

It's a somewhat rare series, and I know of only one subbing team doing it right now. I can get you torrent links when i get home (that will be three days).

Here is the synopsis:

Genres: Drama, Historical

Age rating: Mature (May contain sex, drugs, and extreme graphic violence)

Plot Summary: At the beginning of the Edo Era, when people enjoyed a time of peace, Lord Tokugawa Tadanaga holds a fighting tournament. In the past, matches were fought with wooden swords. This time, real swords will be used. One-armed Fujiki Gennosuke and blind Irako Seigen will fight each other in this match. Both are disciples of Iwamoto Kogan, who is known as Japan's greatest swordsman. Each of them are determined to prove himself the successor of Iwamoto's school. However, there can only be one champion. So begins a story of intertwining fates, conflict, and strange destinies.

Ive got elfen lied. It was really good. If you could send me a torrent link to that anime that would be great, or if you know of any other good anime to check out and have torrent links let me know.
 
shigurui is a rather interesting anime...
also check out rental magica, macross frontier (teaser ep till spring i believe and really good imho) and kekkahshi off the top of my head.
rosario + vampire is a pretty good manga with episode 1 anime just out. it gets pretty interesting...

Thanks for the new stuff, I don't keep up with the Manga so I have to just preview all the new shows to find good stuff.. I've seen that Rental Magica, but have been reluctant to download. I've started downloading a show called "Pumpkin Scissors" it could prove to be interesting but it also could end up failing miserable, it's a few years older now.

The manga is where it is at tbh. The ending (last couple eps) for the anime version of claymore alone disappointed me. I'm glad it's still an ongoing manga series and is gets really crazy. macross frontier has me going nuts. i was raised off of macross/ robotech series and you will find this reminiscent of it with a bit of deja vu if you remember anything of the original. the battle scenes alone or sic...
 
So anyone watch naruto this week? Orochimaru VS Jinchuuriki?

only 13 episodes left...
 
Not sure but I think in 13 episodes is the end of this arch and/or season. Episode 55 is the last one scheduled to air on 4/10/2008
 
it was nice to see them start fighting. The last episode they just sat around staring at each other.

It takes Naruto some time to get "pumped" up you know... Having your skin ripped from your body I bet is a great feeling too :teeth
 
Bleach is starting to pick up too.

I have a feeling Rukia is going to bust out her bankai somehow. I means she fighting the friggin #9 espada.
