Love the nostalgic photo! Brought back some family memories.

Here we have family living close by so we agreed that we do Christmas, my sister in law does Thanksgiving and the mother of my son in law, who has a pool, does Easter and summer parties.
Usually 10-15 people as some of the guests have smaller homes.
No. My house is not LARGE, but it's a decent sized 3/2 home. My kitchen is waaay nicer/larger than hers, she is just very controlling.
WoodsChic- What a great photo!!!
Who's got turkey?
I have been shopping for my bird portion since Quincy rally, when I heard about the shortage.
Nothing in the small mountain grocery stores, Chester, Arcata, or bigger Eureka safeway. Cloverdale, tried three in Vacaville, Safeway, Luckeys, and Nugget, no joy.
Morro Bay scores with Spencers, haven't seen Albertsons in MB yet.
Don't know if frozen turkey has been held back until Nov. everywhere, but it finally showed in Nov. here.
$2.99 a lb.
I've had deep fried chickens and they were great. I ordered one from KFC a couple years ago. It was expensive and dry but it tasted good. It was too dry though. Usually fried turkeys should be moist and juicy.
