I'm considering a used Voyager 1700 and I'd like to hear the pros and cons of owning this bike. Do all years come with the heat fan behind the rear cylinder? Are there any years that are better than others? What are some problems you've had? What do you like about it? What would you change about it. Have you made any mods? If so, which ones?

Ahh... thanks, but this is a different beast altogether. Liquid cool FI 1700 v-twin. So when is the DBC this year? It's been a while since I've been to one but they're certainly a blast.
 
DBC is usually in the fall, and lately had been a long group ride and no longer a public party - see threads in vintage or who let the smoke out for Julian's (Frame makers) take and pix on it
