Are there any problems from draggin tail ALL THE TIME? I keep tellin myself "you dont need to do a wheelie every time you ride", but I dont like to listen! anything I need to know?:p

well if your draggin tail all the time eventually you'll run out of plastic unless you got a 12 bar... :teeth

iono maybe faster chain and sprocket wear cuz chain gets loose, if its not done right fork damage if your coming down hard :x

I just put in an A.P.E. manual CT. so my chain shouldnt jump (i hope). Im just paranoid about the high RPM. Worried about riding:ride the engine to hard.....

I doubt that theres much long term damage, but it depends on what you're doing. ( ie. landing hard, taking it to redline etc...) generally speaking most wheelies you do should be at a constant speed and/or low speed so you're never in high rpm range. Just make sure you keep up on your oil changes and keep you chain lubed. I have not had any issues thus far and my bike has over 6k of abuse. lol

So far these are power wheelies. Gonna try and step it up to clutch soon. Im up at about 8k when I do them(redline is at 14k).

Oil is fresh, gonna switch it to synthetic next change. Not sure on what kind of lube to use for me chain.....advice?

ya what is good chain lube and how frequently should we use it

thats like askin which oil to use = you will hear all sorts of different answers.

i personally use Bel-Ray chain lube/wax. I use WD40 to clean the chain, then spray this on after im finished. Usually about every 300-500 miles....

I use Brakleen and a rag to clean the chain, then use the stuff they sell at Motostrano. My chain was making some nasty chattering then I cleaned/lubed it and was fine and dandy :)

Make sure you ride around a bit before cleaning the chain as with a warmer chain, it will be easier to clean, and will clean it better.

brakleen is pretty agressive for just cleaning a chain. it will attack the o-rings if your chain has them. ti's not instant destruction, but i could see over the life of a chain and consistent use of brakleen you'll damage the o-rings. not to mention it's a carcinogen... wd40 cleans just fine and isn't nearly as nasty

I dunno... I just changed my main bikes chain.. I used it for quite some time, around 2.0 years riding everyday.. and only cleaned it with brake cleaner before lubing it.. WD40 sticks around.. and brake cleaner evaporates on tires..

good point. i spray it on a rag, then apply to the chain

buy an expensive chain the cheap ones get messed up fast and you spend alot of time tightening them up, my bike is thrashed from stunting, but thats what i bought it for so i am doing a great job

The only long term "wheelie problems" or damage you need to orry about is from CRASHING!

Trust me
