Are there any riders in the North bay? Either around San Rafael or Novato. Looking for some people to ride with, but majority of the rides posted around here are south.
 
5 out of the first 20 posts in this forum are for Northbay rides... seems to be a lot of opportunity. I was on one just yesterday...

We have a few regulars that come from your area.

You should come down, you won't regret the roads down here... or the time it takes you to get here. Promise.
 
The "misfits" usually have something going on Sundays, starting around Napa. Look for those here and in Social Gatherings.
 
I'm a little further north, Sonoma County. I'm up for any rides in Marin Co.
 
I usually end up riding out on my own and meeting up with folks along the way.

We should get a Marin/sonoma meet going lot of folks live North of the GG and it would be fun to meet up sans the bridge toll :party
 
I live in Mill Valley and do Sunday ride sometimes.....otherwise I ride most of Marin on weekends, or sometimes in Napa when it warms up. Have 4-5 friends in MV and San Rafael that ride as well.

I'm too far North it appears. Most of my rides start around Berryessa. Possible to meet up for a bit though.

All the good roads are south in the SC mountains. Not good roadz north of the GGB. :teeth

OP, as others have said, there are usually NB rides on the weekends. If you don't see one, post one.

Also, check out the Group Rides Maps Thread stickied to the the top of the Group Rides forum. If you don't like the Northbay loops there, post better ones.

No good roads up here in North Bay....

And those Misfits are trouble, stay away from them otherwise you might have fun and regret it. :twofinger
 
I would have to disagree with the roads up here sucking.... You must be doing the berryessa loop.... there are far more excellent loops than just berryessa!

you just have to know where to go!

and to top it off the more north you go.. the more desolate the traffic and noobs/squids are.... which i feel make going to the southbay on a weekend a fucking orgy/clusterfuck of traffic present.
