So much this

Or even less. I've done some hot yoga classes where basically boy shorts were what they wore. Like butt cheek straight hsving out lol

PM snapper I believe that she is a certified Yoga instructor in your area.

It's awesome stuff that will change many aspects about how you live and perceive your life.

I'll vouch for Snapper. She's about 80% through her teacher certification, and happens to be my girlfriend. Hot yoga is amazing, for basically all of the reasons mentioned already in this thread. I cannot recommend it highly enough. :thumbup

Also, nothing better than a room full of yoga pants in their native environment. :)

If you're doing it right, you will be too sweaty, breathless, red faced and bug eyed to have any spare mental bandwidth for visually leghumping teh wimmenz, and you won't be in any state to have then talk to you either...

This is also true. :laughing

Yoga can be part of increasing a healthy life but it is certainly not a silver bullet for sleep issues.
I would look at what you are doing in the 2-3 hours before laying down and see what is overstimulating your brain during that time. TV? Internet? Gaming? working out?
Let your brain cool down for at least an hour before trying to sleep. No TV, videos, internet, gaming. The rapid visual imagery has the brain has to process is not good for rest.
My mom watches Faux/whatever news news and then goes to bed and wonders why she is lying in bed for 2 hours unable to sleep. Uh, maybe all the crazy shit that just came through your earholes and eyeballs perhaps?!?!

I just started taking yoga 2 days ago. So far i like it. I signed up for an intro class for $30 for 30 days. I've never done yoga but the hatha flow classes are pretty easy and really focuses on your breathing. I've been sweating my ass off though and it feels good. I saw try it and see if it helps with your sleep issues. My next step is to try out the hot box yoga. That seems intense but sounds fun as well.

Here's where i go:
