Anyone have a recommendation for someone knoweldgeable on French tax law?

My wife and I are being asked to "help out" with the sale of a family property in France. The way the transfer was described to us sounds sketchy at best. I've done some research and I would like to talk to someone knowledgeable in French tax law pertaining to gifts of real estate to clarify what I've read. Thanks.
