I'm pretty new to the board, but it would be nice to meet some folks if you're there.

I'll be there! Will be riding one of Brian Bartlow's Ninja 250R's instead of the Buell. B+ group.

I have heard from a few other BARF'ers as well as some guys on SBR that all are going.

Forecast looks good to!

What group will you be running?

I'm starting off in B-, and taking it from there. New bike, new track, probably gonna be wet... I'm not gonna push my luck right out of the gate.
I'm gonna bring my CBR, and the KTM in my avatar (especially if it's REALLY wet).
My KTM has Pi on the number plates, my CBR is painted gray (it's actually painted to look like it's got armor on it), and I'll be in a really cheesy, red white and blue Zooni suit with sparkly silver shoulders on it.
Plus I'm six and a half feet tall, so no matter what bike I ride, I look like a monkey f**king a football.

I should be easy to spot.
:thumbup

Right on. I'm going to see how big the groups are and maybe do B- a few sessions as well as it'll be a new bike and track for me to.

If it rains, I'm gonna go on the hunt for a tire groover. (SOMEONE has to bring one, right?)
The slicks on my KTM only have a few days left in 'em anyway, so grooving 'em up won't be that big a deal.
Of course, once I do that, I'm gonna REALLY wish I was up on the small track so I could feebly attempt to back it in and drift it out without the fear of getting a$$ packed by someone on a superbike.

Glad to at least hear someone with that opinion, based on the current forecast! :) See ya' there.

NOAA seems to think it's more like showers likely but either way I'll have rain gear. Hmm maybe I should trailer the Buell up after all. It's got some street tires with a decent amount of tread. Brian said he only runs super corsa's on his 250's:/. Guess you'll have to teach me how to go through standing water in super corsa's ;). I know you have experience with that. I'll let you look at the tires if we ride Saturday and see if maybe I should take a credit from Brian and ride the Buell.

I will be there rain or shine in b+ I'm new to the board also and don't know many barfers:thumbup

I'll be there, but it's up in the air which bike I'll actually have on track ATM. Anyone know where I can pick up a set of vortex clip ons for an 05 R6? :teeth If I can't find clip ons I'll be on my Honda.

I've got some Woodcraft clipons, not doing anything. What size are your stantions?

Nevermind. I did some digging, and mine are three mm too big.
You can shim 'em with a cut up beer can, but I... uh... wouldn't recommend it.
Not that, I... uh... have ever done anything like that, ya know...

Thanks but I kind of need to be able to pick them up locally. They won't get here in time otherwise. Hence why I was asking here instead of ordering a set from Mach1. They MIGHT be able to get me a set by Saturday but I'm going to be out of town until Sunday. Not a good time for this! :( I might have no other option and I may have a friend pick them up for me on Saturday but I'd rather not put anyone out if I don't have to. :thumbup

LMAO we've all done some really bad things in our past for sure. But I'm to the point in my life that I'll pass on that option. Is that how you got your name? :laughing
