Anyone still running non-Windows 11 hardware - What are you going to do Oct 14?

Have you asked on reddit? :laughing
Nope. I have read that numerous systems still run using ancient hardware, and as a result ancient components are being sought. Into the scrap pile they will go.... Or they can be re-imagined into lovely whirligig thingamabobs. Or something., 🌈🌪️☀️

Budman, how are things with you?

OK, I broke down my PC. I can't believe I started that build in 2011. All ASUS blue anodized heatsinks all over the MB and wrapped around the RAM, blue LEDs all around, blue fan LEDs and blades, and everything else black. And then I stuck in the last AIW card with RED trim :green

Do not despair, I moved that build, minus the ATI card, to my second best ATX case, I enrolled its Win10 for another year, so I'll stick in my Quadro card and set it up for CAD and 3D printing. It will then perpetuate offline after a year. The PS I have for it is a little weak though, just 400W and only a 4-pin CPU power plug instead of 8.

Well, the 5-user Win10 license pack I bought over a decade ago is not activating the last two licenses - says they've already been activated on another device. Otherwise, two built PCs on ASUS Prime and Tuff MBs with Ryzen 9700x CPUs and 32GB CL30 RAM, waiting for OS activation.
