Ram mount works for me but it is too much work sometimes.
I saw this quad lock online but hard to find honest reviews.
Just wondering if anyone ever tried this mount.
If yes , how did you like it?

I have one on my bicycle it’s a great idea but there case is bulky I have thought of getting it for my motorcycle

i use quadlock and love it, it stays put and easy to put on and take off. Have it on my bicycles, R1, and harley. case is not too bulky only the back side has that little hump where the mount clicks in, but doesn't really bother me. still fits in my front jean pocket just fine.

For some reason this design seems like it won't be reliable (as in the phone might just slip off.) but the reviews are crazy good. What sorcery is this. :teeth

I might trust that in a car, but not on a motorcycle! For the motorcyle, I use SlipGrip phone holders with RAM mounts. The SlipGrip stuff is nice because they have holders that are a perfect fit for your phone and popular cases; so you don't have to take the case off like you do with the RAM holders.

You mean the Ram Mount scissors sort of thing with 4 posts?

If so, it's a good mount, even if you buy a new phone, since they are somewhat flexible. I know they work ok with Samsung S7, Iphone6, Moto-X.....
So anything in that general size range.

In the 10 years or so I have using these , in my cars, motorcycles, and even bicycle, never lost a phone, or even close.

I wondered the same thing but then Googled "quad-lock phone mount." It's not the same thing.

I have no experience with the quad-lock but there is a RAM product that I like much better than the X mount: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0088LL7UA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

This thing is very secure and putting the phone in is extremely quick. It's not a thing of beauty however.

haha. I ended up buying this. It works perfect. I took out the top support and the phone just slides in and stays.

I was referring to this case. I ended up getting a Ram finger mount anyway. :ride

I used one of those for a couple of years, but the little "grabbers" kept snapping on me.
Definitely secure, though, and as you point out, thanks to it's looks, no one is likely to want to steal it. Although in SF, they'll steal anything! I think I must have had at least 4 spark plugs broken off of my little V50 Monza by crack monsters.
