I have a severe case of it. If I so much as see a picture of a spider on my computer screen, I tend to jump a bit. I've always been scared of spiders ever since I was a little boy. I don't mind snakes, lizards, other bugs, etc.. but spiders are my kryptonite.

Is there treatment for this? I know that about 99% of spiders are harmless.. but why am I so dang scared?

I am scared too! Nick posted this video of thousands of spiders just falling out of the sky! FREAKED ME OUT! yucky. They just have so many eyes just watching you, waiting to jump at you! Ugh. I haven't found anything that helps. :laughing

You fucking asshole!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you know there are big hairy tarantulas living in the East Bay? Saw them many times around Mt Diablo. Oh hay I notice you are also in the East Bay, is this your hand? :laughing

Those things jump miles! ^ You are not nice :x

But they are ADORABLE.

And what's not nice about posting a photo of a cute spider? It's cute! Nothing not-nice about that. And for the more scary photo, I included a warning, didn't I? :devil

tarantulas don't count as spiders. :laughing The warning was a very sweet thing to do, however, it might work better to put it at the top of the photo instead of the bottom... Just a suggestion though :laughing

OP, just don't go to Australia, the spiders are so big they have their own health bar.....

Did you happen to watch the movie "The Spider" as a kid?

Had a GF back in early college days, she had severe arachnophobia like you, said it began after she watched the movie as a young girl. There's a long story about how I found about it, involving 4am, a cocked .357 and my intent to shoot anything that wasn't wearing tits.
