Best shop in the bay area for being fitted for an Arai helmet?

I haven't been there lately, but what about Road Rider?

Let's be clear about Arai. These helmets are meant to be "fitted" by someone who knows Arai's system of shell and padding. To get an off the shelf Arai and expect it to fit perfect is about 100:1. The shell, the pads all have to be measured in order for it to be the "proper fit". Even my X11 and X12's have been fit changing out pads.

The biggest problem is, and this is really a shame on dealers, is that no one in the stores knows how to do this. When you ask Arai's rep (Bruce Porter), he states that each dealer for Arai has the chance to be trained on how to do so, yet rarely any actually do. It's also why they (most dealers for Arai or Shoei) have no optional interior padding "in stock". IMO, this is a huge disservice to those plunking down hundreds of $ for a quality helmet. Stores could make so much more profit and provide a valued service by "fitting" Arai high end helmets correctly, in person with each customer. The same methodology can be performed with Shoei. I had to buy every pad from Shoei for my X12 to be perfect, but in the end, well worth it.

Here's Arai's video on the subject, be smart about this if you invest in any high quality helmet to save your melon. Arai states very clearly that each helmet must be "fit" correctly.

i got to try on the corsair v in carbon last weekend and it was a damned near perfect fit out the box. i hit that 1:100 first try. but yea go somewhere where the staff knows how to fit you for arais and shoeis.

Decided to check out RoadRider today and damn glad I did. Sales person was well trained on the fitting process as well as product knowledge...oh and the 25% off sale made the entire experience that much sweeter. I walked with an Arai Ace RX-Q for 565.00 OTD....werd!!!

Thanks for all the recommendations .
