Sorry, dude. Knowing what acronymns stand for doesn't make you a techie. I was at lunch today, and the guys at the next table were talking about how they just learned what 'CC' and 'BCC' in the e-mails stand for.

I can picture someone would know what those do, but not what the acronyms mean.
Come on, how long has it been since you've seen an actual piece of carbon paper? Years, at least, for me.

But if you can actually remember putting the carbon paper between two sheets of paper to type two copies of the letter that just makes you old.

And I agree. OP just because you think CISC is a harder acronym to know. Doesn't make you more or less tech then anyone else.
Now if you can site the founding user groups and classification numbers from said groups. Then I'd be impressed.![]()
