Are you able to feel the seam at the end of your glove's fingers?

Are you able to feel the seam at the end of your glove's fingers? Large gloves feel a tad small to me and XL's feel a little bit loose? What do you guys think?

Buy gloves with externally stitched fingers. Then you won't feel it. Astar GP Pros come to mind.

+1. Go for the smaller gloves, they'll break in and will fit. That is, of course, assuming they aren't so tight they cut off circulation or anything.

I went through this same delima. I ended up getting the smaller gloves even though I was really in between sizes. They leather has softened up a bit and they fit pretty nice now.

Depends on the brand and model of glove - some have longer fingers than others, some have more pronounced stitching. Try on a lot of different ones, and you'll find something that works...

Different brands have different fingers lengths (narrow fit vs wide fit) so try on other brands to find one that fits you better. In my experience, the Alpinestars, Frank Thomas and Olympic brands have narrower fits. Joe Rocket, Technique and Racer brands have a little wider fit so you don't have to buy the large size to fit through the palm but end up with extra length at the finger tips.

I've got short fingers with a large palm/thumb area.

I prefer making the glove break in with regards to the thumb and palm and have fitting finger lengths. Extra length fingers drive me crazy.

It makes it hard to get my gloves on, but I'll take that over really long fingers. I currently run the A* GP Plus Gloves from www.Motostrano.com :

*EDIT*

Oh yeah they held up very well in my recent lowside at T-Hill.

Yep, the middle and index fingers are a bit short for my hand, seriously.

My gloves are "Racer" brand (what a STUPID, not easy to Google name) I believe they're from Australia, nice roo palms and otherwise they fit very well.

I like a really snug fitting glove. Had this problem with a pair of Novarra mountain bike gloves. Only on the thumbs, but it drove me nuts. My Dainese Hellracer moto gloves are super plush, though!

I felt the seams in my gloves when I first got them, but don't feel/notice them anymore. They were irritating at first and I was worried it'd be a problem, but not even an issue now.

Just got a pair of lg A* SP-1's and they a little tight to get on and the seem in the right pinky is a little bothersome but after wearing a few times they are already breakin in and feel better.

I very carefully pulled/pushed each of the fingers inside out, and trimmed the sharpest edges of the seams.

That plus some breaking in and they were fine. I very rarely notice it now.
